What is SEO?

You would have heard this term very often but it would have been difficult for you to really understand what it is especially if you are a non-technical background folk (like me 😛)

So lets break this term in very simple way





SEO is the acronym of Search Engine Optimization. It is basically a process in which you follow certain guidelines of a search engine/engines to rank your website/blog higher and increase your visibiltiy.


Let me tell you that all the search engines like google, yahoo, bing etc have laid down their own set of guidelines most of which are however unknown to us. Every person who is creating a website needs to follow these guidelines to get points and eventually rank high or be visible on the SERP.
